The performative installation "Orakel" by the two dance artists Lili M. Rampre and Emanuele Soavi is inspired by Walter Benjamin's essay The Storyteller. In it, Benjamin assumes that wisdom is being lost due to the increasing flood of information that permeates the lives of individuals - also because the art of storytelling is dying out. Lili M. Rampre and Emanuele Soavi bring literature and the process of storytelling to the center of attention, fanning it out in movement, image, and sound. The visitors of the installation are invited to embark on a visual-sound journey, to perceive the world from different angles and to experience that reception begins with our body. In the process, they themselves become actors in the space.

Choreographer and performer Emanuele Soavi founded his own label Emanuele Soavi incompany in 2012, based in Cologne. From here he collaborates with (inter)national institutions, artists in different formats regionally, nationwide and internationally. More: www.emanuelesoavi.de
