Die Ausstellung [B]last markiert einen Zwischenzustand, einen Übergang und wird zum Ort der Verhandlung – was soll erhalten, weitergegeben oder gesprengt werden? Im Fokus steht dabei, die eigenen, bisher bekannten Handlungs- und Aktionsfelder zu befragen und auszuweiten. [B]last entsteht in einem verbalen und materiellen Austausch zwischen Rebekka Kronsteiner und Sabrina Podemski mit Paulina Seyfried und Sofia Steffens. Fragmentarische Zeugnisse dieser Verhandlung von Erhalt und Veränderung im Moment des Umbruchs tauchen auf und können herausgetragen werden. Objekte im Raum oszillieren zwischen Zerbrechlichkeit und Stabilität, zwischen Nutzen und ästhetischer Erfahrung. Die Ausstellung wird zur Baustelle, die Sinnbild für einen Zustand der Aktion, der Veränderung und des Machens ist.

Welche (fragwürdigen) Traditionen bestimmen den Alltag? Wie lassen sich Irritationen provozieren? Wie können Räume für Neues geöffnet werden? Mittels Mikropraktiken, der eigenen Handlung im nahen Umfeld, können Prozesse des Verhandelns, Verbindens, Collagierens und Überlappens provoziert werden.

Ein gemeinsam entwickelter Taschenkalender gibt Einblicke in den Arbeitsprozess. Er dient nicht nur der Dokumentation eines Briefwechsels zwischen den vier Akteurinnen, sondern lädt zur Benutzung und Weiterführung ein. Der Kalender kann in der Ausstellung für 10 - 30€ erworben werden.
Die Einnahmen werden an den JugendTreff der Alten Feuerwache gespendet. Der erste Tag ist der 18. Juni, der Tag der Eröffnung. Der Kalender ist für ein beliebiges Jahr verwendbar. Unser herzlicher Dank gilt Ihsan Alisan für die Einladung, Friederike Lauschke für die grafische Gestaltung des Kalenders und Charlotte Rohde für die Bereitstellung der Typo “Kéroïne”. Zudem bedanken wir uns bei dem “Schwarzweiß Fotolabor” für die Zuschüsse zu den Produktionskosten der Kalender.

Die Ausstellung wird durch das Schaufenster von Mouches Volantes einsehbar - Eine Eröffnung und eine Begehung der Ausstellung werden im Einklang mit den Verordnungen zur Eindämmung von COVID-19 stattfinden.

The exhibition [B]last marks an intermediate state, a transition and becomes a place of negotiation - what is to be preserved, passed on or blown up? Focus is placed on questioning and expanding one‘s own, previously known fields of action and agency. [B]last develops in verbal and material exchange between Rebekka Kronsteiner and Sabrina Podemski with Paulina Seyfried and Sofia Steffens. Fragmentary testimonies of this negotiation of preservation and change in the moment of upheaval emerge in the exhibition and can be carried out of it. Objects in the space oscillate between fragility and stability, between utility and aesthetic experience. The exhibition becomes a construction site, emblematic of a state of action, transformation and creation.

Which (questionable) traditions determine everyday life? How can irritations be provoked? How can spaces for the new emerge? By means of micro-practices, one's own action in the immediate environment, processes of negotiating, connecting, collaging and overlapping can be provoked.

A jointly developed pocket calendar gives insights into the working process. It not only serves to document an exchange of letters between the four actors, but also encourages its use and continuation. The calendar can be purchased in the exhibition for 10 - 30€. The proceeds will be donated to the JugendTreff of the Alte Feuerwache. The first day is the 18th of June, the day of the opening. The calendar can be used for any year.
